What is release paper?
- Release paper is used to protect adhesive sheets and tapes
- The surface of paper is coated with release agent

Laminated products: base paper, barrier agent, release agent
- Substrate: wood free paper, kraft paper, glassine paper
- Barrier agent: polyethylene (PE) is commonly used (to prevent release agent soaking into the paper)
- Release agent: silicone resin is commonly used
